About Me

IMG_0690.PNG

In 2010 I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease after extensive testing, causing me to go gluten free. In 2017 I got a 10 week old Weimaraner puppy from a responsible breeder and began training  her for service work for secondary conditions that arose from my celiac disease. When Mochi was around 8 months old I learned about gluten detection dogs and joined Luna Service Dog Inc. Once Mochi was able to alert to gluten and peanuts (an allergy I later developed) the secondary issues from the celiac became largely under control due to not being contaminated all the time. In 2019 I married my lovely husband. Mochi Graduated in April of 2020. I then decided I wanted to help others the same way I needed help so I began the process of becoming a Service Dog trainer for allergens.  I started Christine De Juan's (Luna Service Dog Inc) mentorship program, became an O.D.O.R. professional member (with the intent to become an evaluator), became a CGC Evaluator, became a Pet Professional Guild member, and a member of the Pet Ambassador Program (with the intent to be an evaluator).
